VibeCraft ("we", "our", or "the App") is an AI-powered wallpaper discovery and creation mobile application. We are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our users.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use VibeCraft, how we utilize that data, our strict zero-gallery-intrusion privacy model, and how you retain complete control over your personal data.
1 Account Registration & Personal Data
To provide personalized features like synced profiles, saved preferences, and customized wallpaper collections, VibeCraft offers secure user authentication powered by Google Firebase Authentication.
Account Credentials: When you sign up using Email & Password, we store your chosen display name and email address. Passwords are securely hashed and managed by Firebase Auth — we never have access to plain-text passwords.
Google Sign-In: If you sign in using Google Sign-In, we receive your basic public profile information (Name, Email Address, and Avatar URL) from Google OAuth to create and sync your VibeCraft profile.
Custom Avatar: You have the option to set a custom profile picture. Avatars can be saved locally on your device or linked to your Google profile photo.
Cloud Firestore Database: We store minimal user metadata (UID, display name, email, authentication provider, and creation timestamp) in Google Cloud Firestore to maintain your account state across sessions.
2 Device Permissions & Wallpaper Storage
VibeCraft is built with privacy-first engineering. We only request permissions that are essential for core wallpaper functionality:
🛡️ Zero Public Photo Library Intrusion
VibeCraft does NOT request, scan, read, or export data to your phone's personal photo gallery. Your private photos, albums, and media libraries are completely inaccessible to our app.
Private Sandboxed Storage: All downloaded wallpapers and locally cached images are saved strictly within VibeCraft's private app document directory. No external media scanner can access this data, and it is automatically removed upon account deletion or cache clearing.
SET_WALLPAPER Permission: VibeCraft utilizes the native Android SET_WALLPAPER permission to allow you to directly set any wallpaper to your Home Screen, Lock Screen, or Both Screens seamlessly without requiring file manager access.
Internet & Network State:INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE are used to fetch high-definition wallpapers, communicate with the AI generator, and check online status.
3 AI Creator & External Services
VibeCraft integrates with trusted third-party service providers to deliver AI image creation and high-definition wallpaper exploration:

Provides searchable catalogs of high-resolution, curated royalty-free wallpapers. No personal data is shared with image providers.

4 Data Retention & Account Deletion
We respect your right to data sovereignty and privacy. You have full control over your data at any time:
Instant In-App Deletion: You can permanently delete your account directly inside the app by going to Profile → Delete Account. This instantly wipes your Firebase Auth account, Firestore documents, cached images, and local preferences.
Web Deletion Portal: In full compliance with Google Play Account Deletion requirements, users who have uninstalled the app or lost access can request complete account removal via our web deletion portal or by email.

Regardless of your geographic location, VibeCraft extends the following fundamental privacy rights to all users:
Right to Access: You can view all profile information stored in your account at any time within the Profile tab.
Right to Rectification: You can update your display name or profile picture directly within the app settings.
Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): You can permanently wipe all your account records, generated prompts, and local caches via in-app deletion or email request.
Right to Restrict Processing: You can sign out or clear app cache at any moment.
6 Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
VibeCraft is designed for general audiences and is not directed towards children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain European jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children. If we discover that a child has provided us with personal information, we will delete such data immediately from our servers.
7 Security of Your Data
We apply industry-standard security protocols to protect your personal data:
All network communications between the VibeCraft app and backend servers are strictly encrypted using HTTPS / TLS 1.3.
Database access is guarded by restrictive Firebase Security Rules, ensuring only authenticated account holders can access their own profile documents.
